Forstau (560 inhabitants) is situated in the Salzburger Land in the area „Pongau“ in the middle of the skiing region „Sportwelt amadé (the nearest slopes are Fageralm, Reiteralm, Planai, Obertauern). Forstau is a valley 930 m above the sea level between Schladming and Radstadt. Our farm is just about 10 minutes off the beaten tracks. Forstau invites in summer and winter to several diffrent activities as well as to relax and recover.

In the areas round Forstau there are much more diffrent offers like the new therm amadé in Altenmarkt, romantic flumes, high ropes courses, castles, museums for example: „Haus der Natur“, zoological garden Hellbrunn, „Eisriesenwelt“ (the largest system of ice caves of our planet) etc.

In the „Mozart-City“ Salzburg, about 45 minutes away you’ve got a lot of possibilities to shop or offers of indoor activities on bad-weather-days.
